They call themselves “Edemen”, after their home planet of Edem, others call them “Geeples”. The Sagas mention the creation of Aj Ajawat, the First Geeple or “Uniped”, by an ancient civilization known as The Makers. Today, 80,000 years later, the Progees, Wammuudians, Nomads, as well as the Frezz (who are adapted to cold weather) are all members of the same species, all descended from Aj Ajawat, the one who suppossedly made them free so long ago. That doesn’t mean, however, that they all get along. Another related group, the Tangeneans, are descended from Wammuudians and Progees, and now live on the large nearby planet Tangene. Because of the increased gravity, Tangeneans are up to 5-times as strong as Edem natives. it is rumored that even other “unipeds” exist in the Galaxy.
Edem joined The Government of Urban Planets in the year 140-1304 and now a fragile peace reigns between the Geeple tribes and nations. But criminal elements, outlaws and bandits, are still common on Edem. Beyond the Edemic solar system, unknown to the Geeples, others watch and wait, plotting Edem’s distruction.
